I saw the trailer for that long ago. The MGS2 look is cool but the cinema scenes turn me off. I don't recall Snake being able to jump on rockets, 80 feet in the air, etc.

the ninja scenes were pwnage though but that's all I can say. Ofcourse I never played that version but it's like Mario... nothing beats the original!

ill have to go with nintendo here. if you want to find out why i picked nintendo, get a gamecube and these games...super smash bros. melee, the legend of zelda: collecters editions, and mario kart double dash. and if your into violent games, get resident evil 4. these 4 games are all you need. smash bros. is a fighting game with nintendo characters(its also the best seller for gamecube, it says it right on the box!) the legend of zelda: special edition has 4 complete zelda games, and a 20 min. demo of the legend of zelda: the windwaker(you could also get windwaker for your gamecube if you want) mario kart double dash is a very fun racing game with mario characters. what makes it more fun is that instead of 1 person per kart, there's 2! one character drives, while the other controls the weapons. each character has his/her own special kind of weapon, for example, mario and luigi shoot out fireballs, and peach and daisy have little pink hearts that surround and protect their kart. this game has plenty unlockables, but sadly...theres no replay value, meaning, after you beat the game...thats about it...but why dont you and a couple of your friends play a battle round?

A few problems wrong with that:

1) I like playing more than 4 stupid games
2) I hate Nintendo characters
3) Resident Evil has had pretty shitty games ever since the second one
4) Nintendo is for babies
5) Team-only Games make me want to throw up uncontrollably

Nintendo does draw the younger crowd. Conker's Bad Fur Day was probably as R rated as Nintendo got.

Sega hasn't been living long enough for me to declare if it's for kids or not I played sega when I was a kid.

Playstation has GrandTheftAuto and that's all I need.

I woudln't put it past him. I haven't played any of those crappy games, but I saw a TV commercial for one where he bites the heads off snakes and outruns exploding rivers.

IT TOTALLY SUCKED ASS! the controls were shitty, hard to control, and hard as hell to aim, the camera moved eratically, I didn't know where the hell I was going, and the game was really boring ...

Although I disagree on your reasons for disliking MGS2, I also didn't like MGS2 But that's because the story was completely wack!

My bro is an over-obsessive MGS fan so I can't say anything about it.

As for best shooter on the GC, Metroid Prime handsdown! (although they DO call it a "First Person Adventure" instead of a FPS, it's still fun as hell).

Not everything for nintendo is childish. The Castlevania series, for example, is some pretty intense stuff about vampires and demons.

I'll also point out that Nintendo has a bunch of Sonic games, and if you don't want to piss Bank off you'd better not say Sonic is childish either.

I voted for Nintendo but only because Nintendo > Sega. I personally prefer the Playstation over other consoles. But back in the day Nintendo's NES and SNES pwned Sega's crap they put out. By the time Nintendo 64 and Gamecube came out I grew up and didn't want to play the kiddie games anymore so I got a Playstation

So what? Nintendo is more popular purely because little kids like the characters, mothers and other concerned parents, and older fanboys. They have third party support, and truly became popular because of the games Nintendo DIDNT make.
