I guess you could say the forums are similar to the servers: I don't care for CA/DM3 and most of that particular part of the community, but, like the game, there's more to the forums than just that part of the community. Again, CA/DM3 isn't all of Quake.

You answer my question with more CA/DM3 responses? This is what your entire attitude hinges on?

Yes I did, and yes it does. I don't see the type of behavior I've been ranting about it other servers, it seems to be exclusive to servers that run DM3 24/7... like the CA servers.

DM3's long history of fierce competition won't stop for any reason, it's the juggernaut that you wish had an end,but unfortunately, DM3 is 4 life.

Any future endevour's that expect to breathe life into Q1 would be ignorant to NOT utilize its strong and, undeniable following. Quake is being held hostage by DM3,and being a whiney trolling bitch at every turn will change nothing.

wait i see what this is about, ca vs other mods.. Well i know for a fact that ca plays other maps from time to time, not often, but speaknow has maps on a rotation if we deviate from dm3 *not sure about rage*; and if there are like 8 people or more on the server we normally play on edge, because its bigger. We try to avoid lava levels no hook etc.. then there is dm3again which hasn't been added to the map vote list. *hints*

I've noticed that! If a custom map gets voted, it always "rotates" back to DM3.

Hmm, seems the map rotation doesn't work on DM3 (or DM3again), but it does rotate through custom maps. Nice touch, but I doubt it will be used much. I'll be trying to prove myself wrong every now and again.

The idea was not to appeal to DM3 lover's when Map Rotation was turned on, and turning on map rotation is as simple as warping to SANITY,or one of the other favorable non-dm3 maps. The rotation though,needs changes made. Not enough maps are in the rotation.

CAx has had map rotation ever since Dredd,it was assimilated. It's easy to proclaim to know everything but its even harder to have been a constant entity in the "Multiplayer Quake" universe,and I have done so and continue to do so,daily.

Maybe we should encourage mappers to make DM3 Quality levels, I see other levels being played if they had the complete balance of Dm3. Most other maps are interesting but lack true awesomeness of DM3. qwdm6? is one that stands out, yet its way to big for your average CAx game (2-4 players).

Stop bitching and do something about it! All of you! If I wanted to hear females talk about issues I'd watch Oprah. Man up men, its time to pull your weight instead of riding the horse and bitching about the heat.
