I can't believe anyone bothers being on either FastTrack or Gnutella network, it's so ridden with fake shit and an undeniable amount of virus/trojan/mal/etc,its like being back in pre-2000 and surfing "warez" or "progz" websites, running through minefields of popups that all had their own nefarious code !!

If you haven't done so yet, I recommend you check your sea leg's....

Piratebay + Flac = My dream
I cannot find a good chunk of my music this way, though. (Not because of TPB, hell I have even checked limewire for desperate measures, my music is apparently obscure...)

Tried Soulseek? You may have to settle for 320 mp3 I'm afraid but you'll be lucky to find .flac anywhere I'm pretty sure, and I reckon Soulseek is likely to be where it takes off first.

I can settle with 320 kb/s just fine. A lot of groups don't release flac so I know I can't always get them.

Well the music that I've searched for I have searched the hell out of google and I can only seem to find it on sites that want to sell me the album. I'm not paying for music, especially when they don't detail the quality.

What i was referring to is limewire no longer works. It was shutdown yesterday... The reason i used it is because its really simple and quick. So i switched to Frostwire. Simple and Quick. I use torrent sites for finding rare or remixed songs, programs etc.

I didn't know it was shutdown. That is pretty funny.
Simple and quick? Yeah but you usually get 128 kb/s crap quality audio and it can be a pain to get a whole album.
