  • Do you HATE Java in web pages?

I think I'm going to uninstall Java off my computer. It ticks me off everytime I have the misfortune of clicking a page with Java embedded in it, my mouse movement slows to a crawl and for about 5 seconds my computer is basically frozen while the stupid applet is loading.

Plus, the applet that whatever bonehead thought was neat in a web page is always something lame like a menu or some other pointless thing.

And for anyone who doesn't know, Java is way different than Javascipt. A majority of web pages use Javascript, that's normal. It's those terrible and clunky Java applets that ppl use for image viewers or animated menus. It's not all that common anymore, but I for 1 sure hate my computer basically slowing to a crawl when I happen to click a link and the page has an applet.

Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

Java rox! Most of the web applications I've made were created in Java. JDBC, Servlets, JSP, etc.
