My little nephew (5 y.o.) likes "MLP Friendship is magic", and russian cartoon "Smeshariki", he also likes "Simpsons", "Family guy" and so on, but his parents doesn't welcome him watching these cartoons (except of "Futurama", it seems to be OK even for little children most of the time).

and my personal favorite.. x-men.. I was glued to the tv any time that show came on.. I'd rage if anyone got in front of the tv when my 'show' was on!

Various other ones along the way.. as well as a tonne of anime shows (mostly read manga nowadays for Naruto though that's about it for anything that's 'left over).

oh yeah, rampage had a good one. X-MEN. i watched anything everything that had to do with x-men. bought everything that was x-men.

I researched x-men deeply, there are so many characters that the show never went into unfortunately unlike the comics.. I really like the episodes where they started going into space with Gladiator.. all the space guys are beast.. but my favorite are the jungle episodes with sinister + his crew..

my favourite character is Night crawler.. I can see why you would like Gambit, he's suave, I liked his personality but not a huge fan of his skills
