Most of the things Alex reports are based on solid, empirical evidence. I take his hypotheses with a grain of salt, but the cold hard facts cannot be ignored.

Or it could be used to help patients with just a pill. There are a lot of depressed people who result to alcohol as an answer when its a depressant and makes things worse. Weed, is a stimulant that tames depressive nature in place of the erratic behavior set on by depression+alcohol. The fact that alcohol destroys brain cells, where as there are cannabinoid receptors in the brain tell you that it's far better for you than beer. IMHO big money is behind alcohol and tobacco and weed would replace both; with far less problems to society. Our founding fathers grew hemp and smoked it hey look out for refer madness!
