Its done because you can get infections if you do not clean it properly, so in order to avoid future issues by cutting the extra skin off and circumsizing the penis. Now in my honest opinion its best to have this done. Also majority of women think a man who is uncircumsized is nasty. I have a friend who was is not circumsized and had a few girls dump him over it, he is 31 years old and still single partially due to this reason because he was embarrased a few times in the past.

What grown up people decide to do to their body is their problem, although I still think it's unnatural. There is a lot of FUD out there concerning this issue. Circumcision can lead to complications and constitutes bodily harm.

Doing it to children is abuse and should be punished. I'm glad judges and lawmakers in Europe are starting to get the idea.

It's not an excuse for anyone not to be clean, Do some research on infected uncircumcised penises and you will see majority of it is from "NOT CLEANING UNDER THE FORESKIN".
