I will be another vote for romney in Ohio.

Regarding companies moving out of the country, along time ago, lawyers and judges and politicians decided that a company has a legal duty to its shareholders to maximize profits. Legally, corporations exist not to provide jobs, but to make money for its shareholders. Providing jobs is just a means to end to that profit. Democrats want it both ways. Your not allowed move to mexico to maximize their profits, but at the same time we also will sue you if you are not doing everything you can to maxmize profits.

Chances are, even if Obama wins, he will likely do nothing for 4 years. the House and Senate are likely to be republican this year.

I don't have the answers and in a way I admit that I don't really know exactly what Romney's ideas are. Maybe this will be more clear after the debates get going.

But I think the "The Land and the King are One". I don't think the status quo is any good.

And elections are for a changing of the guard, and I don't think what is in place now is getting the job done. And expecting different results from the same person is crazy. 4 years is plenty of time to get a clear idea of whether or not ideas work. I think the general consensus is that "the economy really sucks hard".

On November 6 I'll be thinking of you as I cast my ballot for (R)

PROFIT!........Is that what life is about?
Very sad that that is what guides us as a nation.

Not just democrats want it both ways. Is it any wonder we have so litlle of our population bother to exercise their right and obligation to vote with so much "mud-slinging" and not enough true "problem-solving".

"Mud-slinging" is the status quo in politics because most people want a show and something to talk about. Otherwise they aren't interested in listening or paying attention.

I think some problem solving goes on, we just don't usually see it or have awareness of it.

It being the status quo is what bothers me though Baker. It is counter-productive IMO.

I'm not sure I agree that problems are solved in the larger scope either. Yes, some are, but I think that the "status-quo" you mention is getting in the way far too often for anything of true significance to happen as it should.

Life is a subjective experience. Politics is as it always was. Greece had democracy and Socrates complained about the kind of things you see.

And you are right not to like what you see.

But the next day, the sun rises and what politicians do matters to some degree but mostly not. And no matter who wins what election and where, life goes on.

Much the same as it has in the past ...

All day. I'm also a write in vote for Ron Paul. But I'll take Romney over Obama anyday. Some people say, a vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Obama.

A vote for Ron Paul is my vote for Ron Paul. period.

Looking from the outside, it seems like your Republican party is a bunch of people who love to start illegal wars, boycott progressive ideas such as public health care and gun control, don't give a shit about the environment, and want the poor to be ever poorer and the rich ever richer.

Wikipedia tells me there are other parties you can vote for. To a European, it is amazing that so few Americans vote for e.g. the Green party. For comparison, the German Green party gets 10% of the vote and with that can often dictate the politics of a coalition government to a large degree.

I think you guys need third parties in there, and I can't understand why you always vote for the same two parties who keep fucking you over.

Whens the last time you ever heard of a non Republican / Democrat winning an election. I think you you have it out for america, no offense but your constant barrage of 'point finger at america' is annoying. Why u hate on a country you don't even live in / continously compare the USA to other countries and paint this "Perfect picture of awesome" that you purport to exist on your side of the fence. Your grass is green brah but it isn't THAT fn green.

                        I was curious so I googled it for myself ;

He fucking sucked as a president, and I bet every other 3rd party would suck just as bad. Politics are vulnerable to corruption no matter what party you represent or who you are. Money talks and thats what drives corruption in politics, it sure as shit isn't anything else that could corrupt a once legit figure in out goverment.

The one thing going for us as American's is that every next generation becomes less naive than the one before it (like the dangers of marijuana, being laughed at /shit tons of teens now smoke it/ sooner or later, the common sense crowd will outnumber the idiots.

I don't have it out for your country, I think there are awesome people in the US, but perhaps the kind of opinion that I usually have just seems alien to most Americans.

Don't kill the messenger. But yeah, it is time for me to stop discussing politics with Americans. It really just makes me want to bang my head against the wall usually.
