Ah another Tony Hawk fan! I've played a few of the games, and plan to get Project 8 for the 360 soon.

The first I played was Pro Skater 2. Always liked the first level (The Hangar) but always hated the second level (The School).

Tony Hawk's Underground was fun too. Supposedly the first game is a lot better than the second one.

The was the best stage in the entire game You could do everything there! Piggy (or whatever it was called) was so fun to play with friends. Of course, I guess you'd hate it if you didn't like to skate street style.

Yep, I was a lot better with vert style. That's probably why I liked The Hangar so much better.

Asheron's Call (it's nearly dead now, but it took over my life for a year)
Call of Duty (I loved the multiplayer...still do)

Quake3 mod Urban Terror (like CS:S only better, so I've heard)
                      Nexuiz (darkplaces + GPL content)
                      Tremulous (ioquake3 + CCNA2.5 content)

I took a break from gaming when I stopped playing quake because TF died as I knew it. I've never played CS:S. We have a lot of people who come from a CS:S background though. They seem to like it better but I imagine there are people who have left for CS:S as well.

I like Nexuiz but it has a netquake feel to it that's hard for me to adjust to. I started playing quake and soon after quakeworld was released. Almost all of my time has been in the quakeworld realm. Also, the weapon balance seems a bit off. I don't remember the name of the gun, but there's this fast grenade launcher that seems too powerful.

Tremulous is an aliens vs humans style game. It's a lot of fun and reminds me of the aliens TC for quake except it's more advanced. Of all the games I play, I get the lowest FPS in Tremulous. It's also the only game I play that has classes and the teams evolve over time with more kills. I think the game itself is a bit campy because the objective is to destroy the other team's base (alien breeder or power generator) and kill all their spawn points. With the global resource limit per team, it requires more coordination and teamwork than I'm accustomed to in a pub server. I imagine matches are extremely fun.

Urban Terror is where I spend the most of my gaming time. It's fast paced and always fun even in pub servers with a bad team. I'm in a top clan but I'm not one of the best players. It's still fun.

Games that will soon share time with Quake:
                      Urban Terror 4.0 (standalone, don't need quake3)
                      Quake Wars
