One of the talking points revolving around the Boston bombings is that, Inspire magazines first issue had a tutorial on how to make a pressure cooker bomb. This piqued my interest, not the stupid bomb tutorial, but the fact that Al Qaeda has a magazine (allegedly read by over 100 million).

I went looking around for issues. It was actually a bit of a challenge. Apparently, there are powers-that-be out there that want to make it difficult for Al Qaeda to release a magazine. Eventually I was able to track down all 10 issues. I have to say that the magazine is a bit boring. Just a bunch of lies and Jihad blah blah blah, but it is still interesting to read how these people think and believe.

I guess that I should say that I am exposing this material for educational purposes and I am not a terrorist, affiliated with any terrorists, or a supporter of terrorists and/or any form of terrorism. Plainly: I have no bond with terror nor do I seek one.

*apparently the alleged author of this material is dead and has been for a while (drone strike). You should be very very skeptical of the content and all claims that this magazine makes. Right off, the stated author is a lie. How can you believe anything else contained within?

I'm gonna check these out, as I really enjoy putting myself in the proverbial "Shoes of another" to try and understand why someone/something is the way it is.

ps : it takes a funnier fucking turn when you consider this ; The publication was written in english. The mere fact that its written in english at any point in time is some hypocrisy to the max. I know english wasn't invented by the USA, but lets be clear on one thing ; *****s practicing jihad aren't out to get just the USA, the entire western civilization is at risk. Most of the western civilization is dominated by english ,so wouldn't publishing this jihad shit in English = hypocrisy ?

Anwar Al-Awlaki was the brain child behind the magazine. He was a muslim cleric, but he was also an American. The publication is in English because English is the widest spoken language in the world and the intent of the magazine is to reach as many people as possible.

As far as the rest of what you said goes: Yeah, the magazine is all fukked up. I read issues 1 through 4 last night and I spent most of my time either laughing at the ridiculousness of it or feeling very afraid at the ridiculousness of it.

I look at them more as "collectors items" - something off-the-wall to show your friends and make jokes/conversation about. Plus, I'm thinking that this magazine is banned to some degree cause it's supposed to be an online magazine, but there is no way to go to the site that is supposed to be hosting it. I had to dig pretty deep to find these.

I didn't write the books. Nor would it really matter if I did cause they are full of a bunch of nonsense (imo). It's an AQAP hate rag. I would trust that pressure cooker bomb instruction - not at all. I also doubt that the pressure cooker bomb is as bad ass as the Boston bombings are claiming they are.

There is a big difference between a pressure cooker bomb and a bomb inside of a pressure cooker..if you get my drift. I have no proof.
