  • QExpo 2006 and YOUR booth

Quake Expo 2006 will be occurring in about 3 weeks. I believe it will run from July 17 to July 25 in honor of the 10th anniversary of Quake.

Last year's QExpo site: http://qexpo.quakedev.com which was hosted by QuakeDev.

Shortly, I believe registration for booths to show the Quake community any projects/mods/maps/art/site or anything that you have put a lot of work into to enrich the Quake community will coming up within a week or 2.

Last year, you basically registered for an account and wrote up some HTML and upload some images to create a booth.

If you are someone who has invested a lot of time in something to make Quake a better game or place, please consider thinking about setting up a booth so our part of the Quake community is represented well in this.

(The emphasis of this year's Quake Expo is Quake, but Quake II and Quake III projects are welcomed as well. *ack! that was hard to say *)
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

Well the community has expanded in some senses... as we have seen the general community abandoning not only Quake, but also Quake2 and now Q3A, we must band together as fans of our respective games.

Besides, quakedev is hosted by Echon, a huge Q2 fan, and he upgraded QExpo's account for this year.

The booth system is going to be basically the same, youre just making a mini-webpage.
