Of course he can. IRC is just better suited for this sort of thing, as people tend to see your message sooner. It could literally be hours before anyone sees his request for players on the forums...

Don't presume that I do not already utilize a pointless IRC application, to connect to an otherwise completely DEAD IRC SERVER/Channel. I see 20 times over more active netquake players , on this website,at any given moment. Including at 8:10am....

IRC isn't as "die hard" as it was say,even 3 years ago. Most people sit idle, and do nothing. gg

Heh, oddly enough, 3 years ago everyone was telling me to get IRC, so I did... and ran into the same problem you did. Nobody actually used it, they just log in and sit there and forget they ever went through the trouble. Congrats sir, you got me on this one.
