Originally I started hosting servers for people who are frequent to Doomworld, but since there aren't always Quake players there I decided that it might be a good idea to start posting here.
So as the thread title says, the server is currently playing Team Fortress using Dark Places. The server's IP address is: 65dot25dot73dot196, using the default port. Be aware that this is hosted on a home server, but it is running Ubuntu Linux instead of a Windows operating system to help boost performance. The server's config for team fortress can be found on the website, and you can join the IRC channel #quakenight, which is based on irc.oftc.net. I'm not sure when/if people from Doomworld will be coming, so just stop by the IRC channel to see how many people are present.
