  • QuakeOne.com in Emperor's Court online Radio

QuakeOne.com gets a segment on Emperor's Court, an online gaming radio program.

Emperor visited this site a couple of days ago asking questions about CTF and Quake in the modern days.

It is a nice high quality radio program and his radio voice sounds a lot like teh Bank. :d

The Quake segment begins at 10:15 into the program.

Apparently the Emperor was in a clan that had a CTF rivalry with Clan Rum. "I got into a game the other night and it was a BLAST!" "I can grapple with the best of them."

He laments about there not being 200,000 players on the the servers anymore, heh.

    His segment was hilarious.

Apparently the Emperor's clan, which plays WOW today, started with Quake.

And like a lot of us, he thought Quake 3 was "ok" and thought Quake 2 was atrocious.
Beware ... it's a *2 hour* program! The Quake segment is about 10-15 long. He also talks about Warsow around 24 minutes into the program.

Among other things, he spends some time making fun of Halo and the XBox (hehe )

Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

I appreciate the plug, and its a one hour show until we switch over to the new network Sadly, my soundboard and commericials weren't on the new hardware Ive been using, but that will be rectified with next Sunday's show.

Man reading this now makes me feel old

Actually between the Quakeone traffic and the Darkfallonline forums that are still in uproar has crushed our bandwidth. We're currently setup to handle around 10k downloads a week give or take per show. We did that in the first 3 days, sooooo they're adding some hardware or some shit server side to take up the load, and in the process messed up MySQL or whatever (im not a server guy heh). The direct link should be working by now, we just need to get the site back up and running. With luck it'll be up tomorrow.
