Random stuff off my hard drive from 2005. A lot of exciting things went on in Quake in 2005 and I hadn't played in a year. Yellow No. 5 hadn't played Quake in over 5 years and he really helped organize a lot of things.
One thing is that we developed a lot of content for this site with Yellow and Steve, and most of us were organizing some other things (and still are).
Here is some random pics I found on my hard drive or used for other things:

An experiment with textures on map DM4.

This is QRack with Yellow No. 5's texture pack. Yes, you can play Quake on the internet with it like that and get excellent FPS. Yellow No. 5 uses it all the time. So do a lot of other players.

Here is Bam rocket + grenade jumping thru the exit teleporter on the END map, getting a lightning gun boost from other player. Yes, the END map does an exit teleporter and that's where it is.

Someone somewhere actually made a Doom 2 Cyberdemon or (is it Wolfenstein) map for Quake and here is a screenshot I made when trying it out. It is absolutely impossible.

Rocket arena fun on whatever the name of moon map is.

Shift-on-the-fly volume adjustment that Jozsef Szalontai added to JoeQuake version 0.15 released in October.

Slot Zero of Rune Central added of TONS of voting options into RuneQuake. Almost anything short of capture the flag can be played on quake.shmack.net:26002 just by voting it. I made this as joke. I think he didn't like it, hehe, and I think he deleted my post.
I was just trying to be funny.
He has pushed the limits of a Quake mod so far beyond the limits it blows most peoples' minds that are aware of just how evolved it is. It's spectacular.
For this next one, it does contain some "language". The Quake guy kicking ass in the World of Warcraft with Quad.

A graphic for nstructions for LAN play ...

And finally, kind of a chart of the different weapon model replacements out there for Quake.
