Here is a short series of 5 Quake demos recorded on the IHOC server in April 2005 of MindzfieldX showing me several bizarre Quake secrets. I wish I had the video of Phenom -- [wSx]Rook -- sliding around all over the place on DM1 that Diazoild demoed, but I don't have that.

I had intended to put these AVIs on the Singed.Net site back at the time, but the ever-present codec "fun" prevented this from being very practical ... but YouTube solves all of that.

hahah,man I love telefucking people over and over and over on Dm4 , til they realize whats going on o_O That youtube codec/plugin thing is awesome,but im having problems getting all of them to load

If you change the server settings so you can't telefrag people (instead push them away like in fvf), you can sometimes get "pushed" into some interesting dark areas that are pretty artistic. Example, right below the teleport out (where you appear after teleporting) near the elevator in e3m2, you can find a small, narrow area with steps

Also with the same settings: if you stand in the corner of the teleport out (on the roofish area in e3m2) and someone takes the teleport in from below, you'll be "pushed" into the lava area with the ogre button

A couple of them "pause" but if you fast forward a little, they get unstuck.

I just loaded this page in Internet Explorer and for some reason the first 3 display fine and the bottom 2 are just like you described. Very weird.

Same for me. I hit refresh and it loaded fine.

I had the same problem, first 3 display, last 2 wouldn't. I hit refresh and the fourth one showed up, then I refresh again and it's back to 3, haha. Anyway, I said fuck it View > Source, copy & paste video URLs into address bar.

In the future, I'll link 'em up too if I post more than 3. What is so special about 3?
