Hi,
I'm currently writing a dialogue novel based on the first quake, called Despicable Ambiguity. It complements Quakes grotesque ability to suggest and withdraw precise definition of setting, backdrop or scenario, and primarily takes the Rangers view on the world of Quake as he sees it; invoking questions about the environment around him which make little to no sense at all.
The story begins as the Ranger spectacularly comes accross the first other human being besides him. In terms of physique and aggression she is totally inept at handling the world of dispicable ambiguity which surrounds them, the Ranger takes her in under his wing from where they live under the comfort (or uncomfort) of The Rangers bastion, an underground establishment he decided to claim for himself.
The Ranger, drifting along the sidelines of being unethically conscious makes it his duty to protect his new friend from the viscious and psychopathic nature of the inhabitants of Quake. He is drawn to answer the many questions revolving the world around him, in hopes of finally escaping a living of perpetual combat with those of passionate aggression (the inhabitants of Quake).
I'm looking for an illustrator who I can work with; for focally the action events, as words would not suffice the nature the story. The pictures would need to include both the charactors and the settings around them and in the frequency of a comic. The artwork as a whole should compliment the gritty, raw and medieval style of the first quake.
Would there be any artists on the premis of this site who would be interested in a task like this?
Thanks for your time.
