I have most of the generations arena weapons in .mdl format on my hard drive.

The Generations Arena people got upset with someone named Conner at the old FuhQuake boards who did some awesome work on converting them .mdl.

They do look fantastic, but really the guy who made the models don't want them used outside their mod.

I had emailed the author and asked him if he'd mind if we used them and hosted him here and tried to persuade him to let us use them. He said no but said he would consider it again in the future.

That was 2 years ago. Maybe I should ask him again.

Or pull a "fuck what you think" mentality, if anyone has a problem with preserving Quake or bettering Quake for all man and woman kind alike, then we dont need them, but we're keeping your .mdl files.

hmm i thnink i had somthing wif these wep. skins, cos i vagly remember having a nailgun that i could see through the box-like ends. but i cant remember when i had or where they went.

Ever try asking about getting these again? I bet they would look Awesome in Quake 1. I'd love to try them.

On another note- anyone seen the Deathmatch Classic (for Half-Life) weapon models? Bloody brilliant- the rocket launcher and lightning gun are the best take I've ever seen on them!

I did port all of the generations weapon models. Please dont say you have them on your hard drive because that simply isnt true, I never uploaded any of them out of respect for Tabun and Pheonix...Ill post a few pics here but thats all you get unless the wirehead crew says its cool.
