Question #1: With todays video cards, processors and bandwidth what benefit do you get from running simple textures? Does it really give you an advantage in any way?
Question #2: I am a perfectionist by nature and I noticed that in your screenshots the [ ] that surround your score are off centered a bit. Is this due to the low resolution you are using?

r_simpleitems 1 can help fps on cards from nvidia4200 to 7200 range if there are a compound of other options turned on.
I tweaked my raincode...
