Less videos in the news section?

I saw the line: "[And yes there will be less videos posted in the news in the future ... the loads times are getting crazy.]" and thought about the load times for the people (such as I) who are on dial-up. It has me getting up and pouring a drink and coming back to check on the status of the page with the heavy graphics. It doesn't bother me that much, though. I am used to the long times for most sites. As pictures are loading I can just click on a wanted link and be off on another adventure. Putting just a link to a video is just as effective as embedding a video for me. I don't watch many videos cause of the time it takes to get them.
If there is a video that I want to check out I download it with rp and watch it when it is finished. A 42 minute episode from TV takes me about the same time to download it.
The ones on the front page usually get my interest and I take the time to dl them while practicing fiddle, guitar or watching TV.

We have had some complaints in the past.

I know that when I add news in the future, I'm going to try to keep the number of videos that load on the homepage to about 2 or 3 to keep load times faster.

/But this doesn't mean something important will be overlooked just because it is a video.
