I am Going to try to beat as many levels as I can 100% using only the axe! I intend on doing it fast, and skill level on hard! I will upload videos as I complete them. Wish me luck and check back often!

I require Nightmare difficulty. It's not particularly much harder than Hard.
Not to belittle your work. I do the same thing sometimes. Hard with axe only in cooperative is a bittersweet experience.sigpicComment

I've heard that nightmare difficulty is actually easier than hard difficulty because the monsters just rush you and lose theier AI (for the most part).e|------------------------0---------------

Actually I forgot to mention in the txt that there sound effects when you hit things with the axe and the axe has been "bloodfixed" so it makes sparks instead of blood when you bash switches and doors with it.!AXATAXA!
No weapons or ammo to be found. You start with the mighty Ax and a trusty old BB gun. The BB gun uses no ammo but only deals 1 point of damage and is slow to reload, you have only brought it along to snipe remote switches. Whether you consider using it to annoy the monsters at a distance or not cheating is entirely up to yourself.
Codebase is Bam's Plain Old Quake 0.5

Easy enough to do if there's any interest in it. Might add a throwing axe available as a cheat or, perhaps spawning in place of the RL.
I always thought hand to hand fighting was overlooked in Quake particularly given the tales of it originally being HtH only through most of the development cycle. What I always thought would be cool would be a sword that could parry other players and knights swords, although I'm not totally sure that could be done (satisfyingly) with QC alone.Qoetia B4 == 1.93Mb
