I've read some review so far, and I keep seeing Independence Day, War of the Worlds, and a handful of other review and movie critics trying to compare it to previous "alien invasion" movie's.

11 days in theatres, its Battle: Los Angeles (2011) - Box Office Mojo , almost made the production cost back already.

I heard it was a bunch of vague close-up shots with explosions where you could never really tell whats going on and there's an un-important main character.

That was just one review though.

it was good... those aliens were playing in squads!, i hoped their weapons would be a bit more epic though....

i dont go by what other people tell me to on movies, they see it from watching way too many from the start, and try to compare them all as one if its similar, etc. blah blah.. gurus can destroy anything... I am about to watch this movie with no bias what so ever and without even viewing the trailer or reviews on rottentomatoe or whatever. I go in expecting the worst on anything and hoping for the best that way i'm never disappointed... except for sometimes.

I really hope its nothing like Skyline, cause also with that one, the trailer looked dope, but the movie was one of the worst movie i have seen in years, almost brought me to tears with that pathetic excuse they call a movie nowadays. Fuck Hollywood! Hopefully this one will be a lot better.
