Quake Wallpaper

I saw several threads about where to find quake wallpapers while perusing these forums.. It seems there aren't many out there to find. I've tinkered with photoshop, theGIMP, and inkscape over the years and often screw around with image ideas and whatnot. I figured I'd try to re-create the original quake logo and I liked it enough to try to make a wallpaper out of it, so here it is. More might come - it's always nice to have a few variations.

This was created with the GIMP, 1600x1200 - sorry no widescreen! If anyone actually likes this, I'd be happy to resize it for you if you cannot (and possibly re-create a widescreen version).

PLZ use anti-aliasing as I can clearly see "jaggies in the 3D geometry!

Other then that its pretty dang smooth!

1440x900 once u fix the jaggies!

Looks great, but the issue Phenom mentioned is present by the .com area - the blurring is absent here and shows the jagged edges.

Ah yes. The jaggies. It was late as hell last night when I was finishing up - didn't even notice. I'll get it corrected and re-upload.

Great work on that wallpaper. Using this one on my main and Tremor's on my secondary PC (darkened though)
