3wave CTF Promo Movie?

Hey, who's willing to help with this? I just think we need one. With all the stuff we have layin around today, I think we could easily put together a very good movie with some pretty sweet highlights, grapples, frags, captures down to the last second, etc...

It may take awhile. No biggie. Who's willing to help?

I think it'd be cool if it split through the various clients... like some qrack, some d3d, some proquake, some darkplaces... and each time it shifts (in left corner says in red: what client is being used) during that part of the film...

...but i'm too lazy to do video editing and stuff for the game.

Maybe someday i will do something to help in that regard and "inventive".

But me too lazy.

many hundreds of ctf videos..my recent favorite was during a tournament where I raped cd in the last 10 seconds of the game for a quick return/cap to win the game. I can help you plow through demos if you want.

though this prolly is overlooked by the fact that cd has raped me hundreds of other times, but at least I got one!


what do you use to cut up avi, put music behind it etc... if mindz can do it.. i have no doubt I could, cuz I have a great idea for a different type of ctf video (which would take a lot of work and probably wouldnt be as good as a bsaic highlight real).

I like you interest Disco. Mono you too. Between just a few of us, I'm sure we have TONS of demos, but I want to find sweet spots to capture, stuff like Mono just said,game changing things happening, that adrenaline rush felt through the video, same as the player.

I can do some editing, etc as well, I just havent really sat down yet I threw this up the other night wanted to see what kind of response I could get.

Like I said, I figure on it taking awhile, because I don't want just a basic highlight video.
