Dead Space, 3rd person Doom3 clone. clone of sh!t is still sh!t....

Probably, in the near future there wont be only FPS games, but also interactive First Person Movies.
The way games are headed its basically push a button and watch a scene, wash rinse repeat.
So, I'd rather just watch a computer animated "pick-a-path" in that case...

Unfortunatly, Doom and Dead space are completely different. The enimes in doom are demons, while enimes in Dead Space are infectous monsters of an alien entity.

There is nothing wrong with your opinion and my opinion is that dead space is a pretty good game, it's just there is no sense in comparing games that are completely different. I learned that from comparing Halo and Call of Duty.

But all I'm left to say is: believe in your own perspective.

Well, it's a survival horror action hybrid like resident evil 4. So, comparing them seems a bit strange.

and fair enough, I've always been on both console and PC so I guess I'm just biased.

ok, true i didnt get past the 1st 5 minutes of the game. I meant in comparison
to D00m3 as you are trapped on a futuristic 'ship' with monsters. Ohhh, so scary.. anyone see ALIENS? ya same story... zzzzz

In Doom 3 I just got bored of constantly doing a 180 then shooting a demon then going back on my merry way.

@R00k - Turn off vsync, turn off acceleration in the .ini file if it's available.

I tried DS1 and played like 5 minutes before I uninstalled because of the terrible mouse control and 3rd person perspective. A couple years later I reinstalled and tweaked it to where it didn't play like a shit console port, and I'm glad I did. It's a very good game IMO. I rather liked DS2 as well. Haven't played DS3 because of Origin and it was released after I vowed never to pay to play another EA game again.

Likewise, this is one of those games where I turned off vsync and the framerate and mouse control improved dramatically.

I played the Titanfall Beta and it's fun but after I heard about the lack of actual maps and all the DLC planned for it, I wasn't going to fall for that.

I told a guy about this promo and he refused to get it because it was an EA game. I'm not wild about EA either, but I said EA is a publisher, not a developer. You're cheating yourself if you don't snag it.

And one of the best action horror games too!

It was just a let down in the survival horror aspect for me, but no matter, it was still greatly enjoyable.
