Could it be that you are using the Santa model?
For those who dont know,
C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\AppData\LocalLow\id Software\quakelive\baseq3
has all the pk3 files, though they are encrypted.
download http://www.aluigi.org/papers/quakelivedec.zip to decrypt the pk3 files. and viola! You now have perfectly working zip files to look at the contents. But any modification and the servers will not like you!
In case no one knew you can copy any quake 3 player folder to /qrack/progs/ (example /ranger) then rename the /ranger to /player having /qrack/progs/player/...all the files there.Last edited by R00k; 05-06-2011, 03:25 AM.Comment

It's possible as he isn't intended to be used (doesn't appear on the character selection screen). However I've been using Santa ever since I knew of the character being present - just typed the right player model command in the console and volia done. Can do the same with Hunter to get her in the "Santa's helper" skin. I haven't been banned or anything for doing so. However it is not intended to be used as like I said - not present on the selection screen + if you use the console command to switch to him and then visit any customization screen - you're model gets reset to Quake Live's default.Originally posted by R00k View PostComment

Here's a example of emails of being spoofed. Got this in my junk mail folder today
with this header stuff.

They copied my exact email address and sent me it. So you CAN spoof a email easily. They left it under Viagra as the senders name, but that's easily changed.
In fact when in the junk mail folder it shows it as sent by me (Greg Boddy) it's not until I open it the senders name changes.Comment
