WinRAR unzips 7-zip files just fine.

Can't get the download to work. Stopped at 66 this time. I'm about to give up...

If anyone already has the download on their computer, I would be ever grateful if they would upload it to this thread, the normal download obviously isn't going to work for me.

Well, the download for the three patches work perfectly, but the main download for the launcher itself is all kinds of messed up for me when I try to use it; always stopping at certain times, varying download times (often ranging between 5-15 ish minutes), and just messing up with the 7-Zip part, which I don't even know why it's in the download.

So I say, screw it, if noone has it already on there comp, or there isn't a more reliable download for it then I pretty much have given up.

But, I believe I'll buy the One Unit:Whole Blood from GOG.com; apparently the best price and it comes with a special dos for it, and it officially works on XP,7, and Vista.

Thanks for your help guys, unfortunately I seem to have nigh-infinite troubles in getting this unreliable download to work, I'll keep looking for a short while.

And while I'm here, I wish to ask a question:

I've made a shortcut for Zdoom to use on steam, but I want to know how I can change it's settings so it loads files upon execution of the shortcut.

So, say I want to load Bweapons, Bitems, and Bmonsters WAD.files with my exe, but not manually drag and drop them onto the shortcut. Would I put -Bweapons,Bitems,Bmonsters in the start-in parameter in the settings for it, or the destination parameter?

Thanks for all your help on this thread guys, TS.

And would that be in the start-in parameter or the destination parameter.

Oh, and I just added myself to member map.

You'd create a shortcut to zdoom then on that right click, properties and add it there.

I know that, but in the target parameter within the shortcut tab of properties?

                It's the first bar.

Also, I can put the name of the wad, but to I add the period and file type name at the end of it? Because they're all wad files but their names are just Bweapons, Bitems, and Bmonsters.

Running into the same problem as before when you recommended those shortcuts for the mission packs, keeps saying target directory invalid.

Has it changed for Windows 7 users?

Glad to see you took my advice from the nGlide forums ;-)

Jup, that's why i don't like the 3DFX patch myself, still playing Blood without it. However, there is some good news coming our way, the XL Engine is gonna get support for Blood. That way it will be possible to play it nicely on modern systems: XL Engine.

Oh, btw if somebody is interested in buying Blood, you can get it here for cheap: Blood and addons: Plasma Pak and Cryptic Passage

Great site btw, i love GoG to buy some old classic games for cheap, the promos they have are unbelievably cheap.

Wait, what is this bug-ridden version of blood your talking about?

I'm about to buy One Unit off of GoG, because of it's price and the bundle, and because it's supposedly compatible with 7.

So, is this purchase going to be bug-ridden?

                                Hello Toxic Scrag,

no, only the 3dfx "patch" is buggy.
                                Not the version from gog.

The version from gog is perfect to be used with the launcher, that Efess showed us.
That will lead to no bugs.

                                Seven
