A very interesting take on the outdoor area and the waterfall is a good touch! I hope you'll share this when you have it completed. It is looking awesome!

What looks better for the megahealth cave? The screenshot above, or this:

      with the wood supports added?

question of taste, personally I'd opt for the wood supports because they catch the eye which is something you want. Toss in a couple of mining props?

Nice veggies. The power of Crysis.

Some rocks along the path maybe!

It looks very nice and i could see what you try to do here. The only thing what i am worried about that it could look like an enhanced quake but it didn't play like that...

Bloodshot, will it be possible to turn the nano-suit off in this map? I can't imagine someone playing Quake with all that MAXIMUM SPEED options.

Well with Crysis 2 I don't think I would have to turn it off, because the suit is more streamlined and the gameplay (so far) is designed around it - speed only happens when you press sprint now and it's much slower, and I've changed the scale a bit to allow for climbing up obstacles with power jumps (like in the beginning platform) - though it's still mostly to scale, just with some things being a bit bigger and such.

Though I would like to turn off Cloak. That's the only problem I could see.

Actually I've only played Crysis 1 and Crysis Warhead, I can't say these games are bad (I liked it pretty much), but as I have already said - these games are too different from Quake for me.
Maybe Crysis 2 are not so different from old-style shooters.
Maybe if you'll share your work when you'd finished (I don't know if you are doing this map just for yourself or for the whole community), I'll change my opinion, as I did after played RMQ (totally new experience even thou both game process and artwork are firmly standing on original Quake).
