What about an ebook. I can read that only on one device? Bullshit... I paid for it. Once I paid for it, it should be my right to use it wherever I want for as long as I want, and make backup copies of it for obvious reasons (so I can keep using it even after the device it is stored on breaks).
I have no problem if the number of backup copies I can have is limited to, say, five, and if reselling of copies was prohibited. But I should be able to use it on all devices that I own forever because I paid for that. These limits are bullshit and they're only doing it for profit. The EU has shot down attempts like this before (MS trying to lock their OS to one specific PC).
Capitalism and profit are good, but common sense need be applied (and put into law).
