This just shows how much the current blizzard cares about actual Diablo fans, and this is gonna come right back to kick Jay Wilson in the crotch.

This is what happens when a dev team (respectably) puts years of work into something that then goes down in a giant shit storm because a) producers want to milk it for money and put excessive DRM in it and b) diehard fans rage that it isn't the Diablo they love.

When c) the popular developer of the original megahit Diablo starts publicly berating them, they snap. It's human. They're under fire from all sides for something that largely isn't their fault.

Badly played from both sides, but a lot of this is down to money and the culture of excessive whining in the gamer world. This is just the icing

He was simply expressing his honest opinion, and much of it is true. Jay Wilson and most of the team had no prior ARPG knowledge or understanding. It would be one thing if this was an isolated incident, but when a prior dev states his issues and they pretty much match up with what many players have been saying, that blizz has blatantly ignored, it adds up and makes the impact of that statement much, much worse.

And David Brevik's comments can be interpreted in multiple ways. Yes, you might see it as passive agressive, while in reality it could have just as easily been praising his old team because the end result of their work and collective vision was much better, not because he wants them to fail or wants to take a jab at them or anything like that, but because it's something to be proud of, because they weren't trying to continue a series they hadn't touched before, they were creating the games they wanted to, and continuing in ways that the fans would want them to, because they themselves were diablo fans as well.

It doesn't help Blizzard that Path of Exile, a free2play ARPG, is listening to their fans and is shaping up to be what people were expecting from Diablo 3. Many users are consistently dropping Diablo 3 to head over to PoE because Diablo 3 was sold on the shoulders of the previous game's reputation, and the devs blatantly disregard design decisions that make Diablo what it is, simply because they feel they know better, or the fact that all of those employees blatantly ignore his actual valid criticisms and go straight for one part like it's the only thing he said.

Well, typically I would never post a 9/11 conpsiracy video, I personally get irritated by them,but yea. The fact it was one of those videos, snapped me out of "Click like Zombie" mode. Every link offered from that point forward ; annoying.

Like the video(s) I watched about Nazi's,Hollow Earths,and some other weird ass shit I seen this morning haha. Want a good laugh? Look up "Hollow Earth" and NAZI. You're surely be shaking your head in disbelief haha.

Although, I absolutely love it when Game Developers get as dramatic as a Day-Time Soap Opera, its like a nerd romance novel,minus the romance.

Oh it has nothing to do with that. I have an open mind and am willing to at the very least listen to what other people claim. I refuse to click it cause I don't want to spend an hour or more in zombie click mode, watching entertaining videos of nothingness.
