Quake II Evolved Legacy Edition / 1.0 ?

I cannot seem to find a valid link to these. I do have v0.40 and the one from here: Quake 2 High Resolution Texture Packs but it is a bit bloated I think

Is the one from the link above, the legacy edition or 1.0? I cannot seem to verify it? Does anyone have a copy of the Legacy Edition that they can share, providing it is not the one from above?

As far as I know there never was a *real* 1.0 version. Just reworked and improved but somebody else. I have 1.0 version

yea the newest version of Q2berserker (1.38?) is pretty good. I got that on my HD right now, Havent QUITE figured out how to make the Mission pack exclusive enemies like the Swamp monster/spider stroggs/ etc appearing in the game while using the Berserker engine, that said, Original Q2 campaign works perfectly for me even the cutscenes... just havent quite worked out the expansion/mission pack monsters disappearing bug yet.


Quake 2 Evolved on the other hand, supports the mission packs so i hear, ( i want to find and install evolved now as well )

Berserker looks good... but you are stuck without mission pack support as far as i can tell...
