I don't like most "independent" games because I find them pretentious. But this is one of the best games I have played in ages:

ok about 1 minute into this game my ears and eyes started to bleed, and then i threw up a little in my mouf. The dialog was dribble, i didnt know i was supposed to press space to continue each blabbering, then she kept saying the same thing over, and oh then wait the protagonist is a little girl , nah not for me Maybe ill try again when im in a better mood.

ok just to be fair i played it for another minute. Went inside the house, and the "dad" look like he was bump and grinding to the computer, and told me to "[email protected] off" then i went to the bedroom and the doll cussed at me, then i went to the kitchen and the mother told me to feed the fN dog.... wow this game made by the Taliban?

This is a fuxed up game.

@rook - the doll didn't cuss at you. You cussed at the doll. Eimars Parents are all staunch religious fundementalists that treat her like she is a burden and a disgrace to god. Eimar then takes those emotions out on her doll.

This game actually exposes some deep psychological problems. If you played on you would find that the father kills everyone except Eimar and in an odd turn of events she uses his porn computer to bring them all back to life, but she has to get the "program" right. In the pprocess of getting the program right it is revealed to you that Eimar had a brother which died.

This is where I got incredibly bored and stopped playing.

Honestly, I get what the creator was trying to do here, but my opinion is that it translates into a very strange game that isn't very fun to play. You just keep running from room to room talking to your parents to see if you got the program right, after each time that you change it.

Woah woah! I'm friends with Terry and Increpare!!!!

Anyways, this was a heartbreaking mindfuck game.

I grew up with friends who had parents like this too.

I remember this one when I was about 10 named Melissa. It was summer, we were all playing at a nearby playground when her mom's car squealed around the corner. I remember her mom dragging her by the hair into the car screaming about what a useless shit she was and Melissa screaming "but dad said i could play" over and over.

All of us, and our parents who were there, none of us said anything. That winter her dad shot her mom, then himself. Melissa ran out of the house, got lost and died in snow.

Word of advice. If you ever know someone who's abusive to their kid, do something. Call the cops, let their peers know, say something or do something. I miss melissa.

I'm really glad you guys downloaded/reviewed it before I did, because honestly LOL.

Wow, someone has zero imagination if that's what they came up with for a game concept.

It almost saddens me, I'm sure they put alot of time into the game development, but seriously....

"Eimars Parents are all staunch religious fundementalists that treat her like she is a burden and a disgrace to god. Eimar then takes those emotions out on her doll."

If everyone who downloaded this game had that much foreknowledge of the game,I am pretty sure they would either cancel the DL or not even bother starting it.

This... is terrible. Not "terrible" as in the game sucks. Terrible as in "This Depicts Something Expansively Terrible."

                    Pathetic.

If this is the definition of "Profound" and "Beautiful," then... shit... Life is just shit. Stinking piles of daily, ever expanding, abusive - shit.

When I saw the Dad (whom is addicted to porn) refer to Eimar as a "slut of a daughter" and then Eimar call her doll "Little Stutty Babby" (actually she goes on an entire "whore/slut" rant) - I was so disturbed that I hated the game for exposing me to the reality.

Whoever made this game is probably a very disturbed genius. This isn't just random shit thrown together. Notice how all of the passageway between rooms is dark, like anywhere you go there is the anticipation that something bad is going to happen. I'm sure there is some symbolism behind her using the porn computer to bring her parents back to life...I probably don't even want to know. She has dead people in the house that she is imagining are alive and the computer used only for porn before their death is used to attempt to make them perfect (back to normal). There wasanother computer in the house that could have been used. It becomes the new porn computer when they "come back to life" (if you use the proper incorrect "program"). This game is a mindfuck.

@Mindz - there is no download. It's a browser game. You click, it loads, press space to start (press space for a lot of things - like everything that isn't {move}).

4 symbols and 4 slots. 256 possibilities (4x4x4x4). I wonder if the game author actually included 256 possible scenarios or if there is some serious overlap.

Yeah, whoever made this game either had personal issues or knew a lot about them.

The game wasn't bad, it's just morbid, dark, sad and obvious that this is why games don't tend to stick to real life situations.

                          It's creepy.

This is how I would describe Quake, actually.
