Here's a thread where you can tell the community how you prefer to use of your weapons and what guns you prefer. I'm also posting an interesting poll to see if you rely either on your gun or your mind.

About the poll. If you just hold the button down, then you may not get the most accurate shots and may lose focus on what your opponent is doing. It's best to just know the time it takes inbetween blasts then fire when the time is right. But others may think differently, feel free to argue.

I'll start. I rely on stealth shots which means I don't like to leave a trace to my position. What's better to use than the SG? There's no smoke trail and the bullets are instant so you can't see where they came from. This gives me the advantage to weaken my opponent before I let him/her see me. I do use fov 30 for accurate shots and fov 128 to see my surrounding easier. If you get close, I'll whip out the artillary with my DualWeapons until you back off.

In quake, I mostly rely explosives. Rockets are fast, grenades are useful.

In other games, I'm all about accuracy and strong-damage, revolvers are a good example.

The shaft! Especially on Yellow No. 5, he refuses to get hit by anyone's rockets.

I find a quick grenade or 2 usually messes up someone in a rocket fight, so does alternating between the shaft and the RL.

Lately, I think a good trans-Atlantic battle is more fun than 30 ping. Having HPB disadvantage makes you think more about your gameplay.

They need to put a server in the middle of the Atlantic!

My style of play/weapon I choose depends on which game I'm playing.

On Quake, I use the Rocket Launcher. I'm pretty good at hitting people dead-on with it, and if not, the blast from the wall will deal some damage.

On Halo, my gun of choice is the Shotgun (but I rack up more kills by throwing grenades).

On Ghost Recon, I choose the Sniper class, mainly because the enemies on that game don't move around much so they're much easier to hit (compared to another game like Star Wars Battlefront, where everyone's running around).

So I'll go with the second choice, making my shots count.

or you could just go and ninja everyone in the back with a knife, thats how i play (and is why i probably suck at quake.)

i belive that there is nothing like a well laced grenade or rocket but there are some moment when a lightning gun does the job better than enay other weapon

I use the shaft mostly. If you have good aim with it, you are set. If you keep the shaft concentrated on someone they will die very quickly. Shaft+quad=
