It now looks like a nice monster party, where the monster are having fun
... ready for a new Quake guy with 25 shells and a bloody axe teleporting in...
Before it looked like a boring student party where the monster had no alcohol.
Really a great picture now. You should replace 1st post.
@ Josh,
The spider is right there... under the feet of the shambler
PS: Only 1 remark: You removed the 2 torches, but seem to forgot to remove the 2 light-origins as well. They are still there.
@JD
meh, i personally dun feel they fit in quake. the afrits fit great but i tried the spiders and they just didnt fit in imo
they are great, the model looks good and the coding and such and their attacks are great, but they just dun fit into quake i think.
.
@seven
good idea! ive edited the first post and replaced pics and links with new ones
yeah i removed the torches cuz of the burning wizard effect that happened before, and cuz imo the pic just looks better in general without them.
ah yes my bad, i indeed forgot to remove the light-sources of the torches
they arent to obvious though imo, so no rush to get that fixed
...
as per webangels requests i also added the ent-files and start_effectinfo.txt i made specially for these pics to the rar,
so that any of you wanting to make your own version can edit the files and create a version with your own fave models&skins
Thanks... fokin nice... I like how you "collaborate" and work in general... keep the good work and watch my next conclusion these will be there in evidence.
also of course i do collaberate and work with others and take others thoughts in account and such, and share source-files.
im not like some people (you know who you are) who think so high of themselves that they feel their work shouldnt be shared or modified or whatever.
if i making something sure ill give the source and files i used, so people can do with it what they want and modify it so they like it even more
try opening the mdl in noesis: NOESIS
in noesis you can look at all the animations of the models. you can use the slider at bottom to look through all frames.
when you found a nice one, look at right-top of the window where itll display the frame-number. then in the ent-file add the same number MINUS 1.
in quake the frames are all 1 less then how noesis numbers them. 79 is actually 78, 53 is actually 52, 5 is actually 4 etc.
thats how i found the frames i used in that pic
.
and in the multi-skin pk3 seven included with the smc you can find all the monster MDLs
you forgot the piranha. Maybe the shambler could be in the pose from sevens post (attack pose) and holding the fish, like he is happy that he caught a fish all by himself.
