I had a great time there to. It was truly different. What was even better was entering one of the servers and when you want to go back you just type Hub and your back at the hub. This was amazing.. Great work !!! And no.. I can't stay on the trampoline and move around.. !!!!

Lifes a game.. It's time to Play!
Quake.net-tyme.com Pick your Poison.
The hub was just weird. When I first connected it was a very tripped out sensation. Just random crap happening, weird sounds and people bouncing around... (there were about 8 people on)
It's cute, but pointless... And yeah about the arcade credit issues... I would rather be playing a game than wasting time on this server.
Although, if it got even crazier and you could interact with other players, it would be more fun
Maybe you should make a RA server where the spectators can screw around and try to distract the players
Yeah, the HUB is a lot of fun. May I suggest adding in port 26001 quake.shmack.net (RA), and quake.phathookups.com (CA)? May be a little hard to shove all of those server gates in, but it probably can be done.
Maybe from now on, I'll just go there when I want to connect a server. It is alot more fun and easy.
Btw ... Gunter doesn't register at forums and this forum requires registration so he will likely never be posting here.
So .... just a note, the Tetris portion of the hub was adapted from the Arcade mod written by FrikaC and the Paqman by MauveBib released at the 2005 QExpo site.
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.
So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...
I agree with this. I think it's really neat to screw around with but after the initial time I spent there I don't really have a desire to return. I'd rather play an actual game of quake than run around and jump on the trampoline.
Kudos on the innovative ideas and work on putting it together though.
