    Established Quake1 IRC Channel

    There is an established IRC Channel at GameSurge.Net #quake1

    Requires an IRC client of course (MiRC Download)

    Direct URL: irc://irc.gamesurge.net/#quake1

    While there, you can query Quake servers for players by typing "@quake"

    The server list is maintained by Avalanche @ HDZ, I don't know how current the list is.

    It looks like a solid and established channel and there seem to be a good number of players that hang out there.

    The IRC channel is run by Haze (or maybe not, there was an argument about who runs it while I was there, heheh).

    haha,the pointless but rather humorours bot Kooky got kicked by vibe tonite,I threw some trash talk back at vibe,and Kooky the bot totally ripped on Vibe and got kicked for it.

    Also , mIRC has a gay "register me" thing, I would suggest http://www.icechat.net/site/ , a Free yet simple & near-identical IRC client to mIRC in usability.

        Mindz, let's keep that IRC chat stuff off the board in the future.

        Yeah, that kind of talk goes on in IRC but the content of that conversation is a little more "colorful" than should really be posted here, imho.

        edit = I see Mindz made a link instead of having it an in-board quote now so this post is pretty much obsolete
