Rune Quake 1.2 has been released by Slot Zero. The latest version includes vote-match so you can do an old school 1 on 1 or team game with the game locked down so no one else can join the game (they can watch, of course).
Rune Quake is capable of many user-votable modes of play including pure Rocket Arena and CRMOD-style practice mode and has very user-friendly in-game help and easy to remember commands, as well as support for over 200+ custom maps.
It runs on quake.shmack.net, ports 26000 thru 26002 and several other servers.
(And has the best Rocket Arena that was ever made :d )
