Hi,
I'm new to the forums, an avid Doom and Quake fan. I was just wondering if anyone knows more about this?
The Time of Reckoning Quake Features
Some time ago now, I came across this add-on, 'Time Of Reckoning', which was released with extra levels for Doom, Quake, and Duke Nukem 3D. But what really intrigues me, is that the add-on was released for the Amiga as well as PC.
Now, it was pretty standard for someone to throw an unlicenced PC add-on out there back then, but I imagine that wouldn't have been so easy to do for the Amiga, unless I'm mistaken? It made me wonder if anyone knows whether this add-on was picked up and licenced by id Software themselves from Weird Science Ltd (whoever they are, seem to have been based in the UK), in a similar way to how something like 'Duke Xtreme' was for Duke 3D, or it's just another one of many unlicenced add-ons?
Thanks in advance for any info people have!
