    Quake Name Maker Location

    After hearing people mention "where is the Quake Name Maker?" 50 times after PlanetQuake changed all the links, I've added a direct link to the Quake Name Maker to left side of the site under the links block.

    It is the 2nd link in the links block on the left side.
    Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

    So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

    or just use Qrack that has a namemaker in within the client

        Can't you do it yourself? It's fairly simple. A step by step instruction:
        Go 1. here
        (Yes, you MUST use IE, FireFox will not work.
        2. Start clickin' shit. Choose wisely
        3. It will have alot of wierd chars at the bottom. Right-click copy these characters then open up your autoexec and type name "<paste here, no <> marks realisticly, yes use quotes>". Don't worry if the first letter of your name gets cut off. Mine said he F0Qer ==TU>, but iy comes out fine in Quake.
        4. Save the autoexec.cfg file.
        5. Play Quake and marvel at your tripped out name.

            Or ... if you want to avoid all the details and don't play on cheat-free servers, just use JoeQuake 0.15 or Qrack and go to multiplayer and then name maker:

              Coloured names are stupid.

              Please state your reasons. I find that they add spice to the player name, rather than just normal old Monster. It makes you stand out more.

                Now some people just get a little too excited about it. Me, my name is yet simple and has an impact normal names can't provide.

                  The reason is that if your name cant identify you the second someone looks at it, you should look for a new name. I think it's stupid, it does nothing for me.

                      Anyone can identify me instantly. I have the TU tag that's in the bullet-looking chars. And once you see that The... you KNOW its me. LOL
