i use darkplaces for nehahra as well and havent noticed any bugs myself,
the entire mod seems to work fine in darkplaces.

perhaps try updating to the latest stable DP build if you havent done so yet?

btw seven, have there been any stable bug-free DP builds out since the build i linked?
you always seem to keep up-to-date testing out any builds

I've tried some years ago Nehahra with DP and didn't worked but never tried again, completely forget about Nehahra: tried now and works. Oh about quakespasm, I was wrong, I wanted to say Joequake, confused the engine (i have both installed in my PC, plus darkplaces)

I'm playing Nehahra with Darkplaces right now, even if I'm only at third level I can say: WOWW!!!! Why I never played this before? I have to whip my balls as a sign of self-punishment for discovering this gem too late

I used to play Quake so much, that in school (95-2000) they'd call me Quake. It used to annoy me, but in retrospect, I suppose it's quite a cool name.

Yeah, it's pretty awesome! Between the movie and the game it really is a magnum opus. Makes me wish that Mindcrime would come back and 'remaster' it all for Quakes 20th birthday next year.

@unbirthday: That's a pretty cool 'geek chic' story... From now on I shall think of you as Quake too!

Confession number two: I had an Amiga at the time of Quakes heyday and I had no PPC accelerator. Therefore, my first introduction to the fabled Quake was on a *GASP* console! Yep, the N64 along with its controller was the first platform I actually got to play the game... then I went out and got me a lovely P133 which was upgraded to a P200 within a week! Gotta love Quake!

I did not beat Quake until after I got the internet, and searched how to defeat end boss.

I was really disappointed, it was very much like a roller coaster, extremely fun from beginning until the end, which was extremely uneventful.

as much as I enjoy the original quake, my peak of enjoyment was when I was a top tier quake 3 arena duel player. was #1 on the uk ladder at one point, so I only really got into the original quake around the time I joined this forum

For a time i abandoned quake in favor of q3a. While i still enjoy playing it once in a while,i find its harder to go back to than quake.

Wow dude. Sux2BU! Well, now that you're sitting around a lot more perhaps it's a good time to reinstall Quake.

@Mindf!3ldzX: Hmm, yeah. The first time I beat the Hell Mother I fluked it. I didn't have any idea what I did and couldn't repeat it until I checked the interwebs! Certainly not the most epic climax, that's for sure...
