What's the deal with crosshairs? Do you use them? Do they help or hurt? I wanna know what people on the servers are playing with.

I think it'd be foolish not to use Crosshairs. Especially with non-hitscan weapons.

I don't use a crosshair. I know where the center of my monitor is and I go by that. Crosshairs keep me from seeing that's infront of me.

Sometimes I've accidentally played without a crosshair and honestly didn't notice the difference for a long time.

The crosshair, to me, is very important for shafting. For the other weapons like RL and GL, it really doesn't matter if you have a crosshair.

Using the LG is very sensitivity for even a 1 or 2 pixel difference, which to me I can't live without a crosshair and still shaft as well.

I'm not like that. I just play. I don't play to win that often because ping pisses me off. I much prefer LAN

I've always used a crosshair (well- ever since I knew about the crosshair 1 command). I believe that a crosshair helps for rocket aiming, especially while playing rocket arena. For example, in the big flat maps such as arenax, a crosshair will definetly be helpful when aiming at the ground when your opponent is so far away. Crosshairs also help me greatly with using the boomstick, and for shafting (but not as much - only when you begin the shaft stream).

I don't use crosshair... I found it to be annoying. It bothered my line of sight... I used it for like a month when I got Quake back in the day and turned it off ever since.

It's in Portland Oregon. Sniper would have much better ping and Monster would have worse ping. You could explore the difference that makes.
