I need help.

On how to have fun in quake. I can't anymore. WHenever I lose I get insanely pissed. Doesn't happen in other games. the TU clan battle set it off. All the pressure on me to do good, and I didn't. It would be better if I wasn't in any more clan battles or tournys of any sort. either that or quit TU.

Monster, it's just a game man. Being the "best" player in a pool of largely part-time players that numbers vaguely around 2000 isn't being the "best" ... newer games have vastly more players.

If Quake had 5,000 players on the servers every evening like some of the new games have, being the "best" would be far more difficult -- BUT it would still be just a game.

WHenever I lose I get insanely pissed.

There are some players past and present that are like that. Usually they find themselves very lonely. It's called being a bad sport.

Quake should begin with "GL" and end with "GG".

It's just a game, luckily I got out of obsession to (games in general) and the internet before it was too late. I basically say "It's the internet, I have every right to be as complete an asshole as you"

Sometimes when I was feeling nervous about checking responses I'd just say that it's the internet, nothing they say to me matters because they for all intensive purposes dont exist.

Monster.. It IS just a game and you aren't expected to carry your entire team.. You really need to re-read the threads. I don't see that anyone blamed you for the lose? If you were my son.. I would turn the game off until you learned to cool your jets. Your team just needs to learn to be a team and until you pull yourself together you are not any good to them or anyone else. You are best to 4 v 4 each other or have mini matches with others and learn each others movements. There is no I in TEAM..
