I played Q2 in 2000-2001, then came back to Q1 around 2002 (I joined eSx in 2003), so it's been about 5 years.

is an archive of my old e-mails from my Quake 2 clan, Lt (Lieutenant), and it proves I played from December 2000 to around July 2001. Then the clan disappeared when school started back up in August, and I never heard from them again.

I returned to Quake 1 afterwards, and thus you know how the rest of the story goes.

quake 2 online is kinda fun. if you guys want to arrange a game, let me know when and what server, and ill see if i can join

Just monitor the tastyspleen:vanilla and mutant servers. We'll probably be on there about every day at some time or every other day the way things are going.

I played Quake 2 a lot, there are many cool mods too. There is one that converts the game into baseball! There are also soccer stadium maps and stuff.

For anyone else interested, copy & paste this to your config.cfg file in your Quake 2 directory and it will put what seems to be the popular Quake 2 servers in your address book.

Been on mutant and vanilla some lately to see if you were there but I think those times you may have been on Q1. Don't know if I'm gonna jump on tonight or not because I'm pretty tired.

You shoulda been on Q2 with DeathKnight and I a couple weeks ago Quad. He was screaming at the campers and raising hell! It was just like we were on Shmack!
