considering that Quakecon's host city of Mesquite, Texas is only a short drive from me, you'd think ive attended before.

One of my old friends and clan members won an all expense paid vacation for him and his family, to L.A. when he was at quakecon.
Some of you may know him, he got into runequake for a while and also ihoc. Name is Slider. His wife is Ginzell.

my opinion? well, i would definitely like to go. it would be cool to meet other gamers from around the world...and kill them . also, i used to play CS a lot at school, but i dont own the game...so going there just to play that again would be worth it. maybe try Quake 4, Halflife 2...

then id finish it all up with some wonderful Quake 1 goodness.

I never went to , or intend to go to a QCon unless im in the neighborhood,and I dont see that happening
