so what's up with the muting? Here I see everyone running their mouth, I drop in and say like 7 messages and now I'm muted? Ok haha funny but the joke was over long ago. This is exactly why I don't join rage when yeller is around.

C*S you retard I already told you I didn't mute you. Second, no one cares if you never join rage cause mostly you just fuck around till you get kicked off, then come and cry on the forums. To sumerize: no one cares.

As for the mute feature, there are serveral trolls who spew shit the whole time they play, calling people ***s, ******s, etc, so rather than banning them now we can just mute them.

you're being the smartass here. None of your points are legit you're just backing up yeller with false info. Let me go thru my routine in rage. I join a team when the match is over, I play. I say nothing racist or offensive unless someone starts on me first. I rarely play quake as it is as I have other activities in life I'd like to focus on. I do spend quite a bit of time on this forum because it's quick and easy. When I do play, I look for servers that Yeller isn't in because I know I'm going to run into emo issues 80% of the time.

Ok, I'm a pimple on the ass of quake 1 (like I care what someone over the internet thinks of me) who hasn't told anyone about your fucked up past with the patch (probably BS from the start). You're pushing it.

Remind you all that I'm not the only one pissed at the admin abuse in rage and there have been many complaints. Complaints are good so the admins can smarten up. I'm not saying all the admins are bad, it's just some bad apples. Yeller doesn't exactly have a mouth a mother could love.

But I can see that logic isn't going to get us anywhere so let's just come to an agreement. I ignore you and you ignore me. Pretty simple really. I carry no emotion into quake but it's annoying when I become a victim to admin abuse. This isn't your little playground, this is a game that's been alive for 10 years. Show some respect.

Just throwing my imput in, I was really ready to play on C*S's team when this happened. I understand that Frenzy wanted to take a precaution but really you could have waited to see if he WAS gonna do anything instead of automatically muting him. I was kinda disappointed that he wasn't going to get to play, as I rarely see him on due to the difference in our timezones.

C*S never plays. Whenever I join the server when C*S is on he leaves. I think he fears me.

Same to me too. I think he does that on purpose. He rarely enters servers like FvF and when I enter, he leaves. Also, I have a message for Yellow no. 5, Frenzy and Canadian*Sniper. God, it's all we need:

Ok the mute feature is so that players can play, without the constant jibber jabber that is pretty much apart of any game, online or realworld. The opponent is always gonna talk smack. Thats human nature. The fact that the admin can mute someone GLOBALly on the server would be suffice to say that everyone else doesnt want to hear him. :/ If that was the consensus then a ban would be next in order. Hmm, sounds alot more complicated than just "dude shut the fuck up". In Qrack, though, I have created a command called cl_mute. which will disable the sound of the MM1/mm2 sounds. Thus u dont hear the BEEP as messages are printed. This kinda helps from distracting people as they play. But, if your playing and someone is telling the world how u sucked at that 1 on 1 game lastnight at 2am, while your playing no one really cares but you. (10 years later and we are still playing chat-quake).

Does any of this make sense? No, it doesnt. I'll be adding a feature to rage called "ignore". That If you are a player, and u dont want to see playerX's chat messages then you can filter them out. As, for admin's blocking messages of the client to all, That's a per-instance basis and shoud be directed at that admin. In the meantime before I implement the ignore command, you can beta test it yourself by doing just that. Ignore the person, and just play Quake.

As for C*S, he just likes to dabble in Quake, until he wades to the warm-pee spots of the kiddy pool, then it's time to get out.

And lets get one thing straight. I don't fuck around in Quake. I play on more than one server (rage) so me not being on rage doesn't mean I rarely play quake. I do not purposely fuck around in games. I don't talk shmack unless someone talks shmack to me first or abuses admin rights on me (you WILL notice this if you pay attention). I'd much rather just play, chat when spoken too and leave when done.

This whole C*S tries to screw around in the servers is a bad lie which was supported by talk and admin abuse looking righteous. I'm no scapegoat.
