Q 2 source code guide

has anyone got a breakout or ladder type diagram detailing Quake 2 source code?

I'm looking for something that can help direct to areas of the source code to make specific changes in the code for new users. A kind of Source Code detailed if u will. Alomost every link on web is dead.....
