Actual proper download

Hi i realise this has been hammered to death!!! but i definately can't find any search or clear link to download quake 1 (not quakeworld or fuhquake etc) but the actual single player game.

I used to play years ago at lans, net, clans etcccc but now im interested in starting again and want to download quake if i can!!!!

I think there should be a clear direct link from at least one site on the net right?

well u can find any client on this site but u will still need the original pak0.pak and pak1.pak from the quake cd.. quake still belongs to ID software and it is not free (yet).. so.. either dig it out of that old crate with 10 year old cd-roms or... buy a new one..

check Best Buy. you can find Ultimate Quake, which is Quake 1, Quake 2, and Quake 3 Arena, for like 18 bucks.
