Where else can you play ID maps that aren't DM3 or DM6? Maps like E4M3, E1M5, E1M3, E4M8 are some really great maps and CA and DM use only 1 or 2 different maps for 99.9% of the games.

I think thats why i like to play at shmack sometimes. I'm using these killer quake engines with updated graphics n' whatnot. All those maps look great too, not just dm3. Then again i don't really play outside of rage and shmack now a dayz so its not like im trying to hard to look for games.



one more comment about the dm3,dm6 maps. In my experience alot of games boil down to a few levels/maps over the years; starcraft with lost temple, hunters, luna. counter strike with your 24/7 servers with dust or office. teamfortress 2fort5 24/7, quake2 edge, etc..

ps : During IHOC's glory days,there were players there who exlusively played IHOC who could and would rape 75% of the Quake community, namely : MFR Venom, PoD Dyce , MFR Novmode (Tal aka DooM-Rampage) , The Commander in Cheese Yugo2hecK, PoD Hadez , DbE Preacher , DbE Nfirm , and many other's. Everyone is good at whatever mod floats there boat, and there is always someone who will mop the floor with you in the mod of your choice.

I was reading a site on some other forum runecentral and I noticed people listing the top 10 runer quakers. I noted that Saurak made the list and I did not. rofl. I don't know of anyone that can beat me in Runes, Sole and Paradise keep up w/ me but I generally take the lead and win. WTF? Saurak? He sucks completely.
