Tical kicks my ass @ RA with 9 ping, so I can write that off, although on one occasion I was actually beating Tical thru 10 frags.

Novmode kicks my ass @ RA with 19 ping, so I can write that off.

Monster legitimately crushes me @ RA with 50 ping = legit.

Hydro and Z0r both beat me handily @ RA with 80+ ping = god

Dave/Spoon/Colon Blow/Whathisface crushes me @ RA, once with 100 ping = god x 3

I.Pariah pretty much kicks ass @ RA, not quite to the level as those above, but it is still very impressive.

Slugnut crushes me @ RA and isn't even with shaft = god x 5. I've seen Dave with 19 ping beat Slugnut w/50 ping but Slugnut doesn't only use shaft and I have a feeling if the situation were reversed Slugnut would go 15-2, even as good (god) as Dave is.

There are some players out there that could kick my ass at RA, but they aren't many.

And yes, RA is way too fun. Some of the "serious" players [=with a kawk up their butt] don't like anything that is fun so naturally they don't like RA.

I agree, and this is why I dont like it! Granted Ive only played it a few times... Once was against Mindz actually, I was playing under a different name - I recall doing decently, but I just felt irritated while playing it, even though I wasnt doing that bad. So back to plain dm and practice on shmack where I can pretend to be decent =)

I bet Deigo could clock you at Rocket Arena. Or maybe not. It would interesting to see. I'm sure you could easily Diego at CA because you have a ton of CA experience and Diego -- as far as I know -- is pretty new to CA.

But Deigo/Decimate has a LOT of raw skill and has a lot of experience at RA. He hasn't played in 2 years, IIRC, and will only get stronger in the coming weeks as his mad Quake skillz return.

/Me plays head game with exl.seantaylor and forces him to play some RA to defend his "I fear any map that isn't DM3" ego, haha

and 1v1'd on DM2/DM6 plenty, and did the RageArena RL only mod for years as an hpb.

What in the fuck makes you think I can't play RA? My diversity is my STRENGTH, not my weakness. Ask bitch ass ler, who considers Ultrav his map, and I 5-0 5-0 5-0 5-0 5-0 5-0 5-0 5-3'd him without prior experience. When we bust out the tour of all of the maps on rage, I still finish 1st or at least 2nd

Furthermore, the logic that is "anyone who doesnt like something is someone who sucks at it" is absurd and invalid.

You deeply misinterpret my 'negativity'. Players like Bosh, Ramp? They rape the bejesus out of me in 1-1 situations for reasons I can't explain. On the other hand, I'm of equal or (normally) greater skill than most of my opponents.

Extract outbursts on Rage are far too limited to draw a behavioral inductive conclusion from. While your general principle seems likely, it shouldn't be applied in a limited sample situation such as this. I actually like you--ever think of that?

And I did not indicate that CA + DM = RA. I indicated that CA + DM + RageArena +Rudimentary CTF + HPB + LPB = diverse. Diversity could indicate that I would at least be formidable at another mod, and eventually excel at it with a tad bit of experience. Consider the holistic value of the comment rather than extracting values and inadvertently distorting the drawn conclusion from it.

There are people in this forum arguing how they love RA, so what makes them inferior human beings? Because they can't frag as well as you? Sounds to me like your logic is based on your own emotional discourse, which is exactly why logic isn't always the solution to every argument. A point can be proven rationally in the mind of the writer based on his own ideals, but that doesn't necessarily mean that others agree or that your logic is superior.
