QUake League ...? INtrested

ok guys freazy i saw is attempting to do tourney for quake .. if you all want i know of an aswesome site that can track all stats win/lose/ winn%/ your streak as to how many u won or lost in a row.. ect.. here is an example of it www.myleague.com/gnj its a monopoyl league which is dead but if u check the site out we could make it like that for quake .. so im conducting a poll

Meeh... What would be the benefit of this? The site will automatically keep track of player's score and basically automatically rank them?

Its a good idea but I'd personally say we should concentrate on other aspects of what we could offer to the Quake community.. I mean, who is honestly going to sign up for another Quake League? We need to push A LOT more people to Quake 1 to even make that idea significant.

Thats just my opinion. I'd say half the Quakers left are RuneQuakers. and most RQ'er don't travel to far from RuneQuake so they wouldn't be intrested I believe.

This would basically be like buying brand new tires then goin out to look for a car. Its ass backwards. Maybe in the future it would be effective enough :/

i like the idea in it self (alltho winning a game and being "the best" does not intrest me at all) but i agree with phenom.. also i think such a ranking system should be integrated with this site (quakeone.com) in order to keep things centralized..

I think it's a good Idea.. We can do a 1v1 and a clan Season.. There're curently 7 active clans who CA.... That's good enough to have a season. And if we did have a Season I might be able to convince some old quakers to come back.... IE Herbed, Dryice, Idget and Fanman... I also can check with LiL-Penny. I got him to play a few months back... Maybe I can get him to play again...

Deathmatch I am; thinking about starting a tournament with cash for the winning team. Told novice about it in #q1dm ; he seemed to like the idea.

I wouldn't do a CA tournament; well yeah I would, if it had the pldown function from prior CA tournaments. That's essential for my involvement.
